UConn FSAE Car Unveiling 2018

UConn Formula SAE Welcomes 3D Connexion

Designing a Formula SAE car requires students with innovative minds and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) skills. Normal computer mice allow students to create these CAD models proficiently, but 3D Connexion takes the design process to the next level. With their "Space Mouse" products, 3D Connexion allow CAD users to rotate 3D computer models with ease as they perfect their designs. This allows UConn Formula SAE's student to spend less time moving through a drawing itself, and more time designing. Simply put, 3D Connexion's products allow for extremely efficient use of our CAD programs, and we're happy to have to welcome their technology to the team!
